These are genuine Alexander Collins' tiny tahitians, direct from his farm on Takaroa, in the Tuamotu Archipeligo of French Polynesia. Only this one farm produces these delightful and therefore very rare and collectable and desirable under 8mm pearls.
Please note that these are circlé pearls, and so have circles and flaws. A strand of perfectly smooth Collins peacock drops would cost about four times as much.
